四月清明花未眠

“在这人世间，只诞生过一个人，

只死过一个人。”

清明，灵魂的栅栏隔开生死

生者，过客。死者，归人。

在人间，我围炉煮雪

苦苦守候的夜归人，不是风雪

不是夜，竟然是我自己

四月未到之前，我与大地一片荒芜

“整个世界都是我尚未埋葬的身体。”

这必将是我们每个人的死亡

雨落下，清明含着一道泪光

望着你

“回忆成为我们的血，成为眼神和表情。”

四月，就像故乡的一棵山楂树

它在异乡的每一个地方

我们走过或未曾走过的

她早已照亮

当雨水生长成泪水的时候

你与我，生与死将永不分开

像雨水，从仰天的泪水中走出来

你的面容，是清溪奔流的闪光

往后余生，我只能用泪水追赶

“我不会落在你的身后。我是护送者。”

靠着自己，风一样倚着无边的虚无

不断融入远处的青烟与落日

终于明白，我是自己逆光背负的伤

清明，是一种离开

而四月，无处不在

死亡，有无数次

而死者，仅此一人

我要和你都这样活着

天上人间，银河江南

杂花生树，草长莺飞

Flowers Stay Wide Awake

on This Pure & Bright April Day

"There's only one, that's born into and

Dies away from this mundane world."

The day of pure brightness, souls' fence

That fences apart life and death.

The living, the sojourner.

The dead, who, back home, cease to be.

In this world of human souls,

I boil snow on the stove,

And wait for the one back from the night.

But it's not the wind & snow,

Nor the night. It's me, my very self.

Before April's here to stay,

The land and I are a mass of wasteland.

"The whole world is my body, bare & unburied."

It's set to be the death of each and every one of us.

The rain falls. The Pure Brightness is gazing

At you, with glistening teardrops in her eyes.

"Memories turn into our blood,

Glances of the eye, and expressions of the face."

April, like a native hawthorn of my home,

Has long lighted up

Every nook of the alien land,

Be it where we have set foot on or not.

When raindrops are grown into teardrops,

You and me, we'll never part, alive or dead,

Like rain, walking out of the skyward tears.

Your face is the running glitter of a clear stream,

That I have to chase after with my tears,

For the rest of my life.

"As your escort, I won't be falling far behind."

I lean on myself, like the wind

That leans against the limitless nothingness,

Fusing myself into the bluish mist

And the setting sun in the distance.

And my "eureka" comes: I am my own wound,

Borne in the backlighting.

The Day of Pure Brightness is a departure,

And April is everywhere.

Death is a multiple case,

But the Dead is singular.

I want to live this way, with you,

Up in heaven, down on earth,

Along the Milky Way,

Or somewhere south of the River,

Where flowers grow wild on wild trees,

And grasses go rampant 'midst chirping birds.
